WEEKEND WARRIOR

I had an awesome weekend. Friday my friend came up from Edmonton and we chilled, and watched horrible movies and ate spaghetti. Saturday, we went to “Cora’s” and we got the crepes from hell. These things were huge, and so sugar-ridden I had to force myself to stop halfway through…but oh so worth it. Follow that with a coke slurpee, and sun tanning – and then off to Sobeys for some good ol’ fashioned steaks… I picked up 2 T-bones for Nate and I, and then got a pack of NINE Sirloins for $17.50. Amazing? No. LEGENDARY? Yes. We fired up the BBQ and had about 15 people over to watch the UFC Fights. Honestly, the card didn’t look all that impressive at first glance – but it turned out to be one of the best UFC Fight Nights. I especially enjoyed the Nate Marquardt knockout of Damian Maia…I’m pretty sure he had to count his teeth afterwards just to make sure nothing was rattling around in his brain. After the fights – majority of people left, but my BFFL Elisha, and Heather stopped by. We sat around in the bath tub watching Heather give a drunken Natedawg a haircut…using like play-dough scissors. Pretty much amazing.

Sunday was a day of R&R. World of Warcraft, mid day naps with the fireplace cranked, steak dinner compliments of my parents at a nice little restaurant in downtown Okotoks called “New Orleans”, and a little TV before a long needed 9 hour sleep sesh.

All in all? I’m lovin’ it.
