Sunday; Day of R&R

I can sum up my entire Sunday in about 6-7 words, but I’m going to drag it out just to give me something to do.

Supernatural;Smallville;Dollhouse;Diet Coke & Little Caesars.

I watched the season premiere of Smallville, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s taking on a darker tone, and becoming more ‘Superman’ then it has been in the previous 8 seasons. Also, I think that we’ll finally get to see Oliver Queen become less emo & more hero.

I also watched the season premiere of ‘Dollhouse’, and was also quite happy with that…all though I’m worried that the story might not be fast-paced enough for a Friday night time slot. I think the addition of ‘Summer Glau’, and ‘Alexis Denisof’ might bring in even more of the Buffy/Terminator/Firefly fans though – which could help save the series. The fact is – the storyline is there, the acting is there, the directing is there…it’s just a question of whether or not they can draw a crowd on a Friday night. Oh, and PS – Sierra is hot. And so is Elisha Dushku & Summer Glau. All men should watch this show, and hope the girls get cast in leather, or miniskirts. Just an IMO.

Supernatural – I watched the premiere of Season 4, and thought it was cool as hell. The scene where Castiel goes all “We have work for you” was sweet, and added a new twist to the story. Although, I must admit…I’m not happy with the new ‘Ruby’…yet. She’s hot, but the blonde version of ‘Ruby’ was smoking. I’m almost caught up on the series though…almost.
