My weekend

Guten tag! I had a pretty good weekend – although majority of it was pretty uneventful. Details listed below…

Friday –

My friend Jay (Kuba) and I went to a CD Release party for one of his friends. It was at Ceili’s Irish Pub down-town on 8th/8th or 7th/8th… Alright, come on now. You know I don’t know anything downtown. Anyways, we walked in the door and there was like 75 people in Polo shirts and hopping around to Irish folk music…we were just about ready to walk back out when the girl behind us told is “It’s downstairs” (Because obviously we looked a bit out of place). Lo and behold – there was a shady little downstairs basement and as soon as you walked downstairs, it was a complete flip. No more polo’s and no more Irish folk music! The music was – for the most part – pretty awesome. There was this one chick named “Cat” who seriously killed it. When they announced she was going to rap, everyone kind of started drifting away…until she opened her mouth – and then everyone was 100% focused. It was pretty awesome. Kuba’s friend(s) whose new CD is called “This is us” were pretty awesome. It was a mix of vocals by the girl, and reggae/rap by the guy. Quite a nice mix and they kept it fun. At one point – the guy sang a song to his girlfriend, and I think everyone in the crowd was shocked at how well he actually sang. The only downside to the night was when I got home – I sprained my foot.

Saturday -

Saturday was a day of rest and relaxation. I watched some new TV shows, and some movies and honestly just hung out. Sometime during the afternoon - Mikie came over, and with him came Deano. We ended up watching some anime show which I didn't understand, and just chilling. Pizza, Diet Coke, Anime, and WoW? Victory is mine! I had some good chats with Dean. I really respect both Dean and Mike; they're some of the coolest guys I know. They have there priorities in life right, they're smart, they're responsible. Now I just need to find them girlfriends....

Sunday -

Sleep. I slept until around 10:30, and then went and logged on to the computer. Mike went home a bit earlier - and that left Dean and I to chill. We ended up going and getting slurpees, and chatting about how he should definitely buy a house, and we talked about girls a bit. We ended up watching "Daredevil", and I then recorded "Elektra" for later viewing (I bought the movie for like $5.00 years ago, but never ended up watching it - and now the disc is missing). Anyways, once Dean left - my friend Emz came over to watch the season finale of our show. I was actually looking forward to it because Emz and I don't get to hang out very often - and that kind of sucks. We've been friendsfor a very long time, and have loads in common. It's funny though because we're very, very different personalities with very similar interests.

Monday -

I'm including Monday in the weekend because i'm just that awesome and Monday is kind of a irrelevant day with a few good things. Monday marked Day #4 in 2 weeks of early morning cardio. Another 6 miles on the bike - and I really think I need to push more. I'm not feeling like i'm accomplishing enough. In other news; I got "Aegis of the Colliseum" and by T9 gloves. 40989 Unbuffed. GG.
