HARDCORE!

This morning at 12:01 AM I had the privilege of being 1 of a billion people standing in lineup to watch Emma Wa—I mean Harry Potter on screen. I must admit that I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the movie – but I was pleasantly surprised. Now, for anyone who has read the books – you know that #6 is a lot more talking, much less action…and they made it work for them. The 6th movie was, as a friend of mine described, “Unexpectedly funny”. (That word doesn’t look like it’s a real word, but I think it is…regardless…it makes sense in my head, and no one reads this anyways, so we’ll pretend. Shhhh.)
I rather enjoyed the banter between characters, and the few scenes of action were very, very well done. The special effects were amazing and the filming was spectacular.

Now, I’m stuck waiting another year for the next movie to be released. Until then, I get the joy of watching Hermione Granger become hotter by the moment:

Seriously, that girl is smoking. I would pay the $13.50 or whatever it is to watch her on screen for 2 and half hours any time.
The biggest downside to the movie was the hardcore fan behind me who decided to be a WINNER. I got a text message at around 12:03. The movie was still on the like… “HARRY POTTER” sign screaming across the screen, and I opened the phone – angled downwards into my jacket – and nobody except for this anal lady could notice and she decided to pipe up and tell me to “Close your phone!”. Therefore, I opened the phone wider, turned around and looked at her straight in the face while I finished my message and told her maybe she should just pay attention to the movie instead of my actions, and that if that was bothering her – she has some serious issues. Seriously… Fans who are like “Zomg, I’m going to be distracted by a 2” LCD screen when there’s a 150’ screen infront of me. I may miss valuable information from this movie – even though I’ve read the book 2032032 times!” need serious mental evaluation. Just my thoughts, anyways.
