A Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan;

You know those books that give you chills? Imagine it tenfold. This book delivers war, love, magic, swords and creatures of myth and magic. Its heroes are on the brink of the edge; 4 friends in childhood, but where do there allegiances lie now? Who can be trusted, if anyone?

Brandon Sanderson took over the writing of the legendary Robert Jordan’s series ‘A Wheel of Time’. He flows into the story with no apparent hitches, and his writing style is fluid enough that you don’t notice anything happened at all. The only irregularity is the Matrim Cauthon portions, and even though it was different than the works of Jordan – it was brilliant nonetheless.

In a few months time, the next of the series will come out. The Aes Sedai are whole; Egwene al’Vere the Amyrlin Seat. The Black Tower is fractured – Mazrim Taim & Logain Ablar each holding a portion. Aes Sedai bonded to Asha’man; Asha’man bonded to Aes Sedai. The Borderlander army is told to regain their honor and march for the blight. The Malkieri march to war once again – the Golden Crane flies. Will Ituralde fight, or will he march homeward to continue his war on the Seanchan armies of the Empress? Rand has laughed, and cried, and the sun broke the clouds and the skies shone. He carries Justice; the ancient sword of Artur Hawkwing.

Tarmon Gai’don is coming…& I can’t wait!
