I’m currently trying to get information on the Insulin Pump. I had sent some inquiries to Manulife – and was promptly ignored/given wrong information. Then our company hired a new broker – who we are supposed to ask all of our Insurance related questions too. I sent an email out last Wednesday morning – after the ‘introduction’. It’s now Monday, and I haven’t even heard a single peep in response. On top of that – I took Thursday off work to go to the doctors to see if I would even be able to get one…and my doctor pretty much told me I have to go talk to other people. Admittedly, he did also say ‘You seem like the perfect candidate to me’, so that’s a plus anyways. And, because I didn’t mention what else I did that day…imagine a 5.5 hour nap in front of a fireplace. Oh god, it was glorious.
Here’s to hoping they get back to me – and that my referral to the ‘Diabetes Education Center’ goes through smoothly, and quickly. I’d like to get all this shenanigans over with.
